Guess what? another birthday entry..
November seems to be busy with birthdays..lots of them are even on the same day..Vina shares her birthday with another friend from YA..
and on the 11th..my mother..the queen of my heart..who's funny even when she's not aware of it..the voice of reason..the bank of wisdom..the contagious goof-ball...turned 46..
and she shares the same birthday with our worship coordinator, uncle stanley and guess who else..Leonardo DiCaprio..HAHA! ya..just so you know.
anyways was raining non-stop from morning that day & initial plan was to go to taman selera early in the evening for kerang (the birthday girl's favourite dish) & crabs. But because of the rain we just hung around at home first..watching Shaolin Soccer. Forgot how funny that movie is..
tif & dor were with us, which added to the fun of staying home with them.
we finally did go out, braving the rain..but it's all worth it.
for your enlightment, my mum is not really that complicated..she loves - God, her family, her friends, people & food..hehe..and that evening we had a healthy dose of everything.
So, happy birthday mum! may you continue to have many more fruitful years to come..
p.s. her potential conquest this year..climbing to the peak of Mt Kinabalu. my parents will be leaving for it next week. do uphold their trip in prayers.
